Wishing Well: Reflections ("App") uses artificial intelligence ("AI") services provided by third parties to generate certain content within the App. This disclosure explains how AI is used, what it produces, and its limitations.
The App uses AI in two primary ways:
Text-based reflections are generated using Anthropic's Claude language model. When you complete a reflection cycle, the text content of your Memories from that cycle is transmitted to Anthropic's API, which produces a written reflection based on your submitted content. The reflection is then stored in your account.
Visual imagery accompanying reflections is generated using OpenAI's DALL-E image generation model. Descriptive visual prompts are constructed from reflection content and transmitted to OpenAI's API. No raw Memory text is sent to the image generation service.
AI-generated reflections are machine-produced text responses created by processing patterns in your submitted content. They are intended as a tool for personal introspection and creative engagement with your own memories and experiences. The AI applies a consistent stylistic voice designed by the App's creators to produce reflections that are contemplative and personally resonant.
AI-generated images are visual interpretations produced by an image generation model in response to descriptive prompts. They are artistic and allegorical in nature and are not representations of real events, people, or places.
AI-generated content is not professional advice of any kind. It is not therapy, counseling, psychological assessment, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health care. It is not a factual analysis or clinical interpretation of your experiences. It does not represent the views, opinions, or recommendations of Embera Systems, LLC, its employees, or its affiliates.
The AI does not have awareness, understanding, or empathy. It produces text and images through statistical pattern matching. Any perceived emotional resonance, insight, or personal relevance in the generated content is a product of the generative process, not of intentional understanding.
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, misinterpretations of your submitted content, or statements that do not accurately reflect your experiences. The AI may produce content that is unexpected, irrelevant, or emotionally challenging. We do not review, edit, or approve individual AI-generated reflections before they are presented to you.
You should not rely on AI-generated content for making decisions about your health, safety, relationships, finances, or legal matters.
